Your first visit
- 1
Arrive a few minutes early
This gives time to settle in and complete any basic details.
- 2
Talk with the dentist
Share your concerns and goals, and any worries you have about treatment.
- 3
Examination
Your teeth, gums and mouth are checked. Further tests may be suggested if needed.
- 4
Your options, explained
You'll hear what was found and the options available, including likely steps and limitations.
- 5
Plan the next step
Ask any questions. You can take time to decide before agreeing to treatment.
What to bring
- A list of any medicines you take, including supplements
- Details of medical conditions, allergies or pregnancy — to share privately with the dentist
- Any previous dental X-rays or reports, if you have them
- A note of your questions or concerns, so nothing is forgotten
- For children: a favourite toy or comfort item can help
Please don’t send medical records through the website form or social media. Bring them to your appointment instead.
Feeling nervous?
You're not alone — and you're in control
Many people feel anxious about dental visits. Let the team know when you book. You can ask questions at any time, ask for a break, and agree a signal to pause.
After treatment
Your dentist will give you aftercare instructions specific to your treatment. General aftercare information is included on each service page. If you have pain that is getting worse, swelling, bleeding that won’t stop or a fever after treatment, please call the clinic.
